Providenza is a multidisciplinary artistic residency located in the heart of nature in the Corsican mountains. It fosters the blending of disciplines and cultures. This is a workspace designed to promote contemporary artistic creation and exchanges between various fields of research. Conceived as a full-scale agri-cultural experimentation ground, Providenza offers an exceptional working environment where a connection with nature becomes a source of creativity, focus, care, and rest.

Its main program consists of an annual residency lasting three to four weeks (duration to be confirmed depending on ongoing construction work), open to all disciplines. Particular attention is given to projects in cinema, music, or any art/science project critically and sensitively addressing the intertwining of contemporary political and environmental issues, particularly the complex relationships between living beings, human societies, and technology.

More broadly, Providenza aims to support meaningful, engaged projects that aspire to drive change. We are pleased to bring this space to life by sharing it with those seeking a place to work and dream. In this spirit, we wish Providenza to serve as a refuge for supporting fragile yet courageous projects. The general ethos of the residency is to provide a playground for exchanges between artists from around the world, believing that this unique and joyful spirit, cultivated over several years outside conventional formats, allows the emergence of new forms.
