Caroline Poggi & Jonathan Vinel

During their participation to the Providenza residency in 2021, Caroline Poggi and Jonathan Vinel finished writing and shot their short film Watch the fire or burn inside it .

The film tells the story, in Corsica, of a woman who chooses to heal the Earth by burning it.

Other residents and musicians Pan Daijing and Bendik Giske are filmed performing on the land, where most of the shooting took part.

The film was later supported by the Frac Corsica and premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2022.
